Haha .. back from camp .. Well recently just when to the new camp ... Pasir Laba Camp ... this is a camp whereby commander will be trainned .. Yesh .. its the SISPEC camp .. hmmmm ... now going through BSLC ( Basic Section Leader Course) soon after will go through ASLC (Advance Section Leader Course) ... After this total of 21 weeks of training ... 3 chervons will be worn upon my chest .. haha .. Yeah its 3SGT ... wahaha ... Training at the SISPEC camp is totally different from BMT ... Now we are allow to bring food in, MP4, wear civilian clothes ... haha .. not much regimentation in SISPEC .. wahaha .. realli relax ... but training is tough .. just like book out ... ONLY SILVER cadet get to book out on Fri ... pass and fail gt RT ... lol .. its so different from BMT .. well i guess life gt to change when get into SISPEC .. haha .. hmmm ..

Tats y ytd i just booked out ... It was a long day indeed ... Wait till 10 den book out OMG .. my CSM is crazy ... Before we book out we have our weapons introduction plus weapon lesson ... we learn how to strip and assemble : SAW, M203 Grenade Launcher .... We also learn Matador, ACE, GPS, NVG ... all this cool equipment we learnt in 1 day and test in 1 day ... lol .. damn shag .. wahaha ...

At the end of the day, we are told tat we have SAW life firing next week ... OMG .. we just learnt and we are going to fire it nxt week ... its damn fast ... Hopefully im not bo bo shooter and my SAW dun IA .. if not i hol-lan liao ... hehe ... GONE FUCK ...

this is my dunno how many blog here, (hope not second ba).. wahaha... today is friday.. now everybody is busy liao.. not with poly life (cos ended), but with a new life outside the world liao.. rf and vin going changes from boy to man in NS, e 4 superwomen like now "enjoying" working life.. ying at call centre at starhub, ke dunno work where but is selling fire extinguisher (if i not wrong, wrong pls edit urself), me and wf at CPF board working as admin assistant.. everybody doing different things now.. MUST believe, times really fly.. we know each other for going 10 yrs le.. fast right.. 10 yrs down e road, i think our gang have gone throu alot of process (izzit e correct word?), we are still very good fren.. hope this will continue till 20 yrs, 30 yrs, 40 yrs and so on.. wahaha.. jia you guys in watever u all do ba..

Japan - Hina-Matsuri (Doll Festival)

This is a festive event held on March 3rd when hina ningyo dolls are decorated in homes where there are daughters. It is also called Momo-no-Sekku (Peach Festival). Displayed on the a tiered doll-stand are gorgeous hina ningyo dolls together with miniature articles and furniture. And offerings of diamond-shaped rice cakes, sweet and peach blossoms are made to accompany prayers for the healthy growth and happy future of the daughters. There is also the custom of cooking clams and short-necked clams, these dishes decorate the doll-stand and are served as a special dinner for this feast.

I choose this festival is bcos i am a girl that like dolls, then i saw there are hello kitty doll too, that is my favourite. haha.

What so special: This day also known as Girl's Day. It is a day to pray for young girl's growth and happiness.

Festival: Sanja Festival of Asakusa Shrine

Venue: Tokyo along with 2 other festival: Kanda Festival and Sanno Festival

History:
According to legend, the shrine was built to honor two fishermen and a village elder who in the seventh century held a memorial service for a statue of the goddess Kannon that the fishermen found floating in a nearby river. The statue later become the principle image of the temple Sensoji, a renowned center of Kannon worship.

Speciality:
Mikoshi transport local deities, who are believed to leave their shrines once a year during festivals to visit the local community and extend their protection to parishioners for the coming year.
The Sanja Festival features an ancient dance called binzasara no mai and offers visitors a peek into how the townspeople of Edo (now Tokyo) celebrated festive occasions in the past.

Unqiuelity:
The Mikoshi need thousand of ppl to carry, it marks the respectivity of the deity. Deity leaving the shrine is a grand thing. Besides it is a annual event, thus ppl will have to be more careful during the rides.

The Colosseum

History:
The most famous monument of Ancient Rome. Its original name is Flavian Amphitheatre. It was started by the Emperor Vespasian between 70 and 76 AD, and completed by his son Titus in 80 AD. The Colosseum was dedicated the year after Vespasian's death by Titus. They celebrated the opening by holding 100 days worth of games there.

Whats so special abt this theatre:
Romans enjoyed going to the theater to see concerts and plays, and to the stadium to watch chariot races and the amphitheater to watch bloody sports. Going to the amphitheater (Colosseum) was probably the most popular. Gladiatorial combats, fights with beasts and other fights were held in the Colosseum. The Colosseum was big enough to hold the whole population of a town--as many as 50,000 people would sometimes spend the whole day there watching sports.

The games were really bloody and for four centuries, men died as an entertainment for the crowd. Gladiators went to training schools; most of them were slaves and criminals. At first there were fights to the death between wild animals: bear against buffalo, buffalo against elephant, and elephant against rhinoceros. Sometimes there would even be fights between men and tame beasts. These fights were called venationes.

Specially Design:
A circumference of 527m and it was 50m high. There were 80 entrances, all numbered except for the four main entrances which were wider than the others and were reserved for the Emperor. It was designed so that the crowd could get out in five minutes. The interior was divided into three parts: the arena, the podium, and the cavea.

the bottom of the amphitheatre is the 80 enterances for exit and entry .. all numbered except for 4 main door ... is for the king to enter ...

This amphitheatre is so remarkable because it witness lots of bloody scene, fresh blood splashing around the area, clapping and laughter will arouse when blood is seen and battle were worn ... The battling ground is fill will sand to cover all the blood strain that is left over. It is an entertainment section for the Romans but indeed a death ground for the Gladiator....

I found de place is Burj Al Arab (Tower of the Arabs). Although it is a hotel, but this is a wonder found in a book i read.

I like this place is bcos of this pic on top, saw this in a book. This really catch my attention. They design it in this way is so nice lorz...

What so Special: This hotel is like on a deserted island., when u view it in some angles. There is a place at the top of the hotel, like a Helicopter landing pad that is a Tennis Court, cant believe it. The helipad has no borders or fences on the edges and if a player hit a winner the tennis balls would plunge down to the ground.

The hotel houses a mere 202 rooms, but each floor of the hotel is double layered. The deluxe hotel rooms range in size from approximately 1,800 square feet up to approximately 8,000 square feet. A room in the Burj Al Arab costs a minimum of $1,000 per evening and can increase in price up to $25,000 per night.

Wen: today we only haf half an hour of lesson... after my lesson, me and my frenz went to the school mac to haf breakfast... very long nv eat mac de breakfast already... really miss it... i ate hotcakes with sauages. after eating we went to orchard to repair charlene's handphone... they ask charlene to collect her phone after 3 hours... we went around orchard to shop... we went to take neoprints after window shopping for awhile... we really have fun when taking the neoprints... we went to kfc to rest and have a drink... after tat we went back to collect the phone... our last stop is taka's kinokuniya... me and charlene each bought a dbsk photo book... sobx sobx... broke le la... this is how the photo book looks like... we saw olinda at kinokuniya sia... she look abit werid when she slim down... after we all went back, i went to j8 's Popular to buy something and i saw guo hui wen filming a show... i think they are shooting the 7pm kinship, 'shou zhu' show... i found a new shop today too... these are the pics i took today...

halo ... long time no blog .. haha .. recently i am having my term test so i nv blog for about 1 week or so .. haha .. it have been a tiring week .. haha .. even since week 7 starts .. we are all busying studying .. haha .. everyday after sch .. i would gather my frenz syahurl, jia wei and edwin to go library to study .. haha .. i dun wanto study alone and dun wan to study with gab .. he is such an annoying person ... annoying in a sense that he keep asking "stupid" question .. to be honest .. most of our clssmates dun like him liao ... if he change now .. we might still be fren .. is not i think my class will boycott him ... u may think evil but he deserve it .. becoz he is like a radio keep on playing and playing non-stop ... I HAVE ENOUGH OF HIS NONSENSE

fang: went for dinner wif parents and bro... celebrate bishan cc 19th birthday... me and my bro felt so bored over there... only we 2 youngsters... haha... the ticket is $20 sia... but the food is quite nice... got 8 dishes... the performance is quite boring... MP mr wong kan seng went too... he sang 2 songs wif 2 ladies... this are some of the pics i take... all the nice food de dishes i cant take sia... the other ppl take the food so fast when it was here... haha... the mian xian doesnt look nice... but it taste ok... the dessert is nice is mango pudding... the clown look abit scary... haha...

went out together with ying on fri... meet hoe chuan and xinyi on that day too... ying told me hoe chuan and xinyi is together, in the beginning i cant believe, after that i really have to believe what i see... me and ying waited for them for so long... in the end they blame us... haiz... so angry... when we see them we like dun haf much things to talk abt... after that we walk around Hereen... after awhile hoe chuan and xin yi say they are hungry so we went to haf our dinner at pastamania... when hoe chuan and xinyi are taking their order, i saw xue lian walking out of the shop she working at to the toilet... i told them i saw her... xinyi told me xue lian is migrating to other country i forgot which... haha.. then we went to the shop to find her and chat after our dinner... xue lian say she saw hoe chuan and xinyi holding hands walking on the street together before... so she already know they are tgt... after that ying chuan and xinyi accompany me to go buy my hp earpiece then we went to play pool... really felt very weird going out with them... see hoe chuan is quite pro in playing pool, mei xiang dao i win him... haha... after that me and ying say we are going home then hoe chuan, xinyi, ying and me walk the separate way... i told ying tat i found my handphone protector like disappear le like tat, in the end i went to buy 1 more... haiz, i spent alot of money on my handphone... see! my handphone so xing fu! haha!

haha .. well .. today 30 april 07 ... shld be my happy day coz is last day of april .. but wat strike my day was that i have 2 DRY & BORING lectures .. morning i attended a "MATH-like" lecture.. haiz.. all abt calculation .... arghhhh .. [going crazy].... after the lecture .. is the time that we like the best ... our break .. [finally we have 1hr break liao] .. phew

after break ... i continue listening to another lecture.. haizz.... this "ku-ku" lecture lasted for 2 hrs .. argh .. [cannot tahan] .. haha... after lecture we are happy that we can finally go home ..

but but but ...

we SP DCSE 2B/21 & SP DCSE 2B/22 are call to go for a practical ... [my goodness] ... we are just like cats and dogs .. following wat the owner call us to do .. haiz... when we settle down for practical ... we come to a shock tat todae practical is all abt counting cars ... [wat the hell] .. we have to stand along the footing to count the number and type of cars ... haiz... we choose to sit down .. when we sit down ... we are just like begger .. sitting at the side begging for money .. haiz... all the driver give different kinds of expression to us .. and one more thing .. I will die faster den anyone do.. u noe why?

coz i have been sitting that breathing 1hr of carbon monoxide ... haiz... [pity me man].. haha ... how i wish i dun have he module call: transportation engineering ... haizzz ... :/

Wen: Me and some of my freshmen photo took today! today is a long day sia... during my break i saw 3 of my freshmen in the lab... 2 gals 1 guy... i say hello to my freshmen but one of my freshman(Omar) ask who am i, i'm so sad sia... haha... it'ok he dunno me... he not wif the class during the orientation so he dun quite remember me... haha... awhile later i saw 2 other ogls, jun wei (another ogl of my grp)and justin... i told them that Omar dunno who am i... then justin go and trick him... he ask Omar does he noe him... haha... he look shock sia... then we all laugh... i told him u dunno him 1... after Omar had left, i told jun wei our freshmen mistaken us as a couple... then he say he noe... then we 2 are so paiseh... then justin say they have to go for lesson then i went to talk to the other 2 gals freshmen... we chat alot... after that 1 of them ask me go to the library wif them to find the others freshmen... i went out of the lab and saw 4 of my guy freshmen... when they saw me they call me brain's(jun wei nick name) gf... then i told them i am not lor (...) haha! then after chatting wif the rest of the freshmen in the library we all go 4 lesson... after sch i saw my freshmen again, sian de is when they saw me they call me brain's gf again... haiz... i dun dare to meet my freshmen le la... haha ... after sch me and my frenz went to buy our event 's stuff... 9 plus then reached hm... tired...
